Trust and partnership for good governance

The project proposal of the Foundation for Transparent Regulations "Trust and Partnership for Good Governance" aims to improve the interaction between administration, citizens and business to achieve partnership governance at the municipal level. The focus of the project is on the process of interaction of the two main target groups of the procedure - municipal administration and NGOs and the public in connection with the monitoring of regional policy and in particular, the Plans for Integrated Municipal Development (PIMD) of South Central Region. The goal will be achieved by implementing a package of activities aimed at: increasing the readiness of the administration to allow and involve in the processes of implementation of regional policy at the municipal level representatives of civil society structures; motivating and increasing the readiness and capacity of the representatives of the local structures of the civil society for participation in these processes; development of recommendations for improvement of normative acts related to the implementation of the regional policy at local level and creation of a practical tool for improvement of the cooperation between citizens and administration in the process of management. The results of the project will be practically oriented and will help develop a comprehensive methodology for improving the environment for civil participation not only in the field of regional policy, but will also be applicable in any field of public policy implemented at the municipal level. This circumstance presents the possibility for wide multiplication of the results not only in the units specialized in the implementation of regional policies of the municipal administrations and citizens' associations, but also in a much broader plan and inclusion. The Objective of the project proposal is formulated in accordance with Objective 1. Partnership governance with citizens and businesses of this procedure and is aimed at achieving it.
