Support for Civic Participation in Terms of Administrative Services and the Quality of Administrative Services in the Municipality of Perushtitsa

The project is aimed at the following main target groups: 1.Municipality of Perushtitza, as well as its employees as a local authority and provider of administrative services at local level and 2.The public 3.NGOs, as well as their employees 4.Business as users of the administrative services in the municipality The main aim of the project is to promote transparent and accountable governance in the municipality of Perushtitsa by supporting increased citizen participation in the process of monitoring of the implementation of local policies and measures regarding quality of administrative services in the municipality. The following activities are envisaged: -studies in connection with the current situation in the municipality in the covered area (including a survey among the users of administrative services) -an analysis of the potential and the opportunities in the Municipality of Perushtitsa for improving civic participation in the control and evaluation of administrative services at the local level and their quality -development of a Methodology for improving the feedback system by the users of administrative services, with its accompanying Impact / Effect Assessment -sending an official Recommendation to the Municipality -a comprehensive information campaign to raise awareness of the benefits and opportunities for civic participation- incl. through brochures, informational videos, online publications, a discussion forum, etc. The project will improve the interaction between the administration and the users of administrative services, especially in the area of collecting and processing feedback, and in general will help build a mechanism for effective monitoring and regular evaluation by citizens and consumers in this area. This, in itself, will favor a further increase in the quality of administrative services at local level, as well as an increase in civic activism and the level of civic participation in the municipality of Perushtitsa as a whole
