Monitoring of the policies for educational mediation and analysis of the efficiency of the educational mediators in Ruse District

The main objective of the project proposal is to improve the implementation of the policies for inclusive education and educational integration through civil monitoring of the educational mediation and the educational mediator in Ruse District. The profession of educational mediator was relatively recently introduced officially in our country. For this reason, no legal analysis of the impact of policies and assessment of the environment in which mediators work in Ruse District was prepared. The proposed project activities are logically connected and developed in a way that will ensure the achievement of the main and specific objectives of the project, ensuring sustainable results and satisfaction of the target groups. The planned activities are: 1. Citizen monitoring of local policies concerning the role of educational mediators in educational institutions in Ruse District; 2. Increasing the capacity of the representatives of the target groups for application of the project's intellectual products in their direct work; 3. Conducting an information campaign promoting increased civic participation in the implementation and monitoring of educational integration policies at local and regional level. The implementation of the project will contribute for improved interaction between citizens and representatives of institutions responsible for the implementation of policies for inclusion and educational integration, concerning the figure of educational mediator in educational institutions in Ruse, as well as increased capacity and activity of NGOs in implementation and monitoring of policies. The project proposal will contribute to better synchronization of the efforts of institutions and civil society to achieve the prospects set out in current national, global and European strategic papers, outlining the shared vision of high quality, inclusive, value-oriented and lifelong education, training and learning for all children and young people.
