"CITIZENS AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES - FOR ACCESS TO INFORMATION IN PROTECTION OF PUBLIC INTEREST"

The project is a partnership initiative for analysis of problem areas in the implementation of the Law on Access to Public Information in order to formulate proposals for legislative and other normative changes in the internal documents of the administrative bodies, which will allow fast, accurate and effective provision of access to public information to citizens and legal entities. For this purpose, the practice of the Administrative Court-Varna and the internal rules for the work of the administration / in particular the municipality of Varna / in the process of providing the requested information will be analyzed. In the context of this goal - transparent and effective provision of administrative services to citizens and public entities - proposals will be formulated for changes in the electronic system for processing the files for initiated administrative procedures by the citizens and legal entities. The project aims to propose more effective mechanisms for civic participation in the processes of development, implementation and monitoring of public policies, by improving the regulatory framework and electronic management of services for citizens. These mechanisms will help to achieve a transparent and more efficient governance that saves public resources and provides a favorable environment for the development of economic relations.
