For more active civil society in Polski Trambesh municipality

Overall objective: Building prerequisites for active civic participation and responsible governance in the municipality of Polski Trambesh Specific objectives: 1. Development of mechanisms and practices in support of partnership governance and increasing the interaction between the public and NGO sector in Polski Trambesh municipality. 2. Increasing the activity of NGOs and other stakeholders in the process of strategic planning - in formulation, implementation, and monitoring of policies in Polski Trambesh municipality. 3. Making recommendations to the administration to improve the processes of providing services, the regulatory framework, compliance with ethical standards, open and responsible governance, and to improve the environment for civic participation in the governance process. Planned activities: 1) Research and analysis of the possibilities for intensification of the civil participation in the processes of strategic planning of public policies 2) Analytical study of innovative practices for improving civic participation at the local level 3) Development of Methodological guidelines for civic participation in the strategic planning processes 4) Civil Council for monitoring and control over the actions of the administration 5) Defining recommendations for improving the environment for inclusion and activation of civic participation at the local level 6) Information campaign to stimulate civil society participation in the processes of formulation, implementation, and monitoring of public policies. The expected results correspond to the planned activities. The set goals and activities will contribute to improving the interaction between the municipal administration and the civil society, to increase the activity of NGOs in the implementation and monitoring of policies. In the long run, the created preconditions for more open and transparent governance will contribute to the improvement of the socio-economic environment in the municipality.
