Active civil sector for better administrative services to promote employment in Pleven district

The main goal of the project is to activate the civil sector in the North-West Region to participate in the processes of formation, implementation and monitoring of policies to promote employment, in order to ensure open and responsible management of local employment institutions. Open and responsible management in the service of citizens and businesses goes through effective forms of communication, accessible information and accountability. This approach is the focus of the project. The aim of the project is in accordance with Objective 2 "Open and Responsible Governance" - BG05SFOP001-2.025 - OPGG and is achieved through the implementation of planned activities, each of which leads to the achievement of specific objectives. The activities in the project lead to the following results: increasing the interaction between the local stakeholders on the labor market through research, evaluation and recommendations for open and responsible management of the local employment institutions; increasing the role of the civil sector in the formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies through: advocacy campaign aimed at employment of the most vulnerable groups and information campaign on unemployment and employment; improving the socio-economic environment in the region by contributing to open and responsible management of the administration. Target group: the local structures of the EA - LOD-Pleven, Levski, Nikopol, Cherven Bryag; the employment bodies - mayors, regional governor of Pleven district and their employees; local socio-economic partners and NGOs; business; the public. The project is in line with SO3 "Increasing civic participation in the process of policy formulation and control" of PA2 "Effective and professional governance in partnership with civil society and business" of the OPGG. The project is implemented in partnership between two associations for public benefit with experience and capacity in this field. Duration - 12 months.
