Civic participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation in the field of management of immovable cultural heritage

The main goal of the project is: Increasing citizen participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation in the field of management of immovable cultural property. The specific objectives of the project are: 1. Improving the mechanisms of civic participation in the management of immovable cultural property​​in Bulgaria and uniting the efforts of citizens and the administration in the decision-making process 2. Improving the transparency, openness and efficiency of governance, including administrative services and providing access to information related to immovable cultural property in Bulgaria 3. Raising public awareness and promoting civic participation in the processes of formulating, implementing and monitoring policies and legislation in the field of management of immovable cultural property. Project activities include: 1. Research and analysis of policies, legislation and practices in Bulgaria and the EU related to citizen participation in the management of immovable cultural property 2. Analysis and assessment of the state of the Register of Immovable Cultural Property in Bulgaria 3. Advocacy actions to improve civic participation and management of immovable cultural property in Bulgaria 4. Conducting an information campaign The target groups of the project are: 1. State administration working in the field of management of immovable cultural property 2. Business 3. Society The project will meet the needs of the target groups for active dialogue and partnership in the decision-making process regarding the management of immovable cultural values. As a result of the project implementation, a mechanism will be established for citizen participation in the processes of formulation, implementation and monitoring of policies and legislation in the field of immovable cultural heritage management.
