Active civil society for a more active lifestyle of the elderly

The idea of ​​this project proposal is based on the NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR ACTIVE LIFE OF THE ELDERLY IN BULGARIA (2019 - 2030) and the development of the policy for active life of the elderly is related to the responsible task of setting guidelines for adapting the main sectoral policies. , their updating and reforming according to the demographic challenges - to achieve a relative demographic balance and cohesion of the population, to achieve a higher quality of human resources development, but also to limit the impact of the aging of the population and the labor force on fiscal stability, the sustainability of social systems and the economic growth of the country. Within the framework of the proposed project activities, the opportunities and challenges for the municipal and state administrations related to the development of the policy for active life of the elderly on the territory of Gabrovo district will be studied. An analysis will be performed from the point of view of the applicability of the NATIONAL STRATEGY FOR ACTIVE LIFE OF ADULTS IN BULGARIA (2019 - 2030). Recommendations will be prepared to the municipal and state administrations for the implementation of good practices and the development of the policy for active life of the elderly A methodology and tools related to the opportunities for participation of business, NGOs, citizens in the process of policy development concerning the active life of the elderly in Bulgaria will be created. An information campaign will be held to inform the business and the public about the possibilities for implementing the policy for active life of the elderly
