Implementation of e-justice in the Public Prosecutor's Office of Bulgaria through electronic document exchange, access to open data and electronic services for unified administrative services provided to citizens and institutions.

Within the current project we plan the information services of the PPO to be improved through further development of the main information systems of the PPO - UIS and UISCOC in two basic activities: Through act. 1 will be assured the capability of gradual transition to electronic document exchange in the PPO of Bulgaria through upgrade of the Unified Information System of the PPO incl. education of magistrates and staff for paperless workflow. This will contribute for the provision of more and better electronic service for citizens, business and government institutions which is also aimed in the activity. Also the widening of the scope of electronic statistics in the PPO and the providing of free access to open data concerning the work of the PPO is envisaged. Considering this a numerous activities for providing information security and operational compatibility are planned. The expected result is secure medium for paperless document exchange and handling of electronic content, working electronic services and open data access. Through act. 2 the UISCOC will be further developed in the field of security for authentication and authorization of UISCOC core resources access. As well the subsystem for monitoring, control and reporting will be developed. Also the information scope of UISCOC Will be widened. Free access to aggregated information of the system core, concerning the initiative Open Data will be provided. Will be developed and implemented new system and technological architecture, communication scheme and on-line interface for automated output of information from the core of UISCOC and provisioning of data to open data portals in Bulgaria. A mechanism for keeping up to date description of the open interfaces and open data formats etc. will be developed. Integrated administrative services will be provided through the use of internal electronic services, also clear, fast and easy access to the internal electronic service of the UISCOC will be provided.
