SOCIETY FOR JUSTICE

In the center of the project activities is the active civil society and the honest human values and understanding of just justice is mainly adopted. Independence, quality and efficiency of the justice system are essential for the enforcement of law and the strengthening of mutual trust. Within the project, the suggested activities aim to support the improvement of the quality of the justice system in Bulgaria, the realization of which is based on active citizenship and increased civic awareness. The concept of citizenship refers to the legal relationship between man and the state. Along with obtaining certain privileges, being a citizen also imposes a number of obligations with respect to what the state expects from the people under its jurisdiction. The project focuses on improving cooperation between civil society and the judiciary by carrying out a series of activities contributing to the implementation of the UPDATED JUDICIAL REFORM STRATEGY, in relevance to STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 5: GUARANTEES FOR THE SUPREME OF LAW, PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS, ACCESS TO JUSTICE AND HUMANITY OF JUSTICE and STRATEGIC OBJECTIVE 6: INCREASING TRUST TO JUDICIAL POWER THROUGH PUBLIC PARTICIPATION AND TRANSPARENCY.
