Labor mediation - an adequate way to reform the judiciary by removing part of the labor disputes outside the courts

The project "Labor mediation - an adequate way to reform the judiciary by removing part of the labor disputes outside the courts" aims at supporting the processes of adaptation, development and improvement of alternative methods for dispute resolution /mediation/ in the field of labor activity. Activities and projected results are aimed at analyzing and transferring existing best practices in the field of mediation, increasing public awareness and confidence in mediation, effective involvement of civil society organizations in the mediation process, improving administration processes, public information and overall effectiveness in choosing dispute resolution through mediation, strengthening the role and potential of labor mediators. Within the framework of the project implementation, the following activities will be carried out: 1. Organizing and conducting an analysis of the current situation and existing good practices in the field of mediation. 2. Elaboration of a mediation information portal focused on labor disputes. 3. Proposal for regulatory changes. 4. Publicity and awareness. As a result of the implementation of the project civilian control over the reform of the judiciary will be enlarged and the number of actively involved NGOs in this process will increase, recommendations will be made to improve the judiciary and best practices will be transfered, the introduction of alternative methods for resolving legal disputes will be promoted.
