Research of public attitudes and popularization of the alternative methods for resolving disputes by creating and developing a mediation center

The project "Research of public attitudes and popularization of the alternative methods for resolving disputes by creating a mediation center" aims to support the processes of promotion, adaptation, development and improvement of alternative methods for resolving legal disputes / mediation / in Shumen district and is referred to and aimed at the general public, citizens and businesses in the Shumen district. The project aims to explore the knowledge, attitudes and willingness of target groups to benefit from mediation as a method for resolving civil, labor, commercial and other disputes, to build and develop a mediation center to work to promote mediation as process and mediators as a profession, as well as to provide representatives of the public, citizens and businesses in Shumen district the opportunity to take advantage of mediation sessions with mediators entered in the Unified Register of Mediators at the Ministry of Justice in Shumen district. The following activities will be implemented within the project implementation: 1. Research on "Knowledge, attitudes and readiness to use mediation as a way of out-of-court dispute resolution" 2. Construction and development of a mediation center. 3. Publicity and awareness This project refers to and is aimed at the following target groups in the district of Shumen: 1. The public 2. Citizens 3. Business As a result of the implementation of the project, the civil control over the reform of the judiciary will increase and the number of actively involved NGOs in this process will increase, the practice of using alternative methods for resolving disputes will be popularized and introduced, thus increasing public opinion. trust in mediation and creating the necessary conditions for the introduction of good practices in this field. The project has a high potential for multiplying the results in other settlements as well.
