‘Judicial Reform under a Magnifying Glass II’ is a project which builds upon the implementation of the ‘Judicial Reform under a Magnifying Glass’ project realised by the same partners: ‘Dinamika Centre’ Association, ‘Open Society’ Club and Regional Court – Ruse. Conclusions and recommendations from the research and analyses done during ‘Judicial Reform under a Magnifying Glass’ running from 18.02.2020 to 18.07.2020 have been taken into account when current activities were planned. The project’s main aim was to implement civilian control on judicial reform in Regional Court – Ruse, and to increase the transparency of work on civil cases. The aim of the current project is to contribute to using alternative methods for dealing with legal disputes in the work of Regional Court – Ruse and easing the access of citizens to provision of justice. The current project involves independent analysis of judicial reform in the field of out-of-court dispute resolution; good practices in increasing the role of alternative methods in dispute resolution will be offered and a mechanism will be created allowing interactive and free access to potential solutions in family dispute resolution in and out of court, and all expenses and time spent connected to it. The creation of a mediation centre at Regional Court – Ruse will be a focus in the project results. The successful implementation of the project would lead to: - a change in the organization of family dispute cases in Regional Court – Ruse; - an increased number of out-of-court agreements representing a form of civilian control on the functioning of judicial system; - alleviating of the judicial system in resolving family dispute cases.
