Labor mediation - an adequate way to reform the judiciary by removing part of the labor disputes outside the courts - upgrade

The project "Labor mediation - an adequate way to reform the judiciary by removing part of the labor disputes outside the courts - upgrade" aims at supporting the processes of adaptation, development and improvement of alternative methods for dispute resolution /mediation/ in the field of labor activity by upgrading completed activities under Project BG05SFOP001-3.003-0059. Activities and projected results are aimed at analyzing and transferring existing best practices in the field of mediation; implementation in practice of the main guidelines of Recommendation R (2002) 10 of the Council of Europe on mediation in civil matters, examined in the analysis prepared under the first stage of the project; increasing public awareness and confidence in mediation; effective involvement of civil society organizations in the mediation process; improving administration processes, public information and overall effectiveness in choosing dispute resolution through mediation; strengthening the role and potential of labor mediators; creation of a set of standard documents to facilitate access to labor dispute mediation. As a result of the implementation of the project, the civil control over the reform of the judiciary will increase, the achieved results will be upgraded, mediation will be widely publicized as an alternative to litigation, will help the administration with prepared standard documents and forms to apply mediation in case of labor disputes, the judiciary will be relieved of disputes that could be resolved through mediation and not reach the court at all, the introduction of alternative methods for resolving legal disputes in order to improve the judicial system will be promoted and good European and world practices will be transferred.
