You are the Judicial Reform! - Involvement of citizens and businesses from the field of agriculture and rural areas in the process of reforming the structure, procedures, and organization of the judiciary system and promoting mediation among them as an alternative method of resolving litigation.

In recent years, life and business in the country's rural areas have faced a number of challenges and opportunities. One of the biggest difficulties is the settlement of land use - the consolidation of agricultural land, identification of owners, clarification of lease relations, the right to receive subsidies, etc. All of this often leads to resolving issues in court. In addition, rural businesses, and especially agriculture, have gained access to funding for various activities under European funds, which has created the need to develop entirely new national legislation in this area. In connection with the receipt of funding, refusals for such, inconsistencies and violations during the implementation of various projects and activities, people employed in agriculture and living in rural areas of the country often use the services of the court to resolve disputes with both the administration and other counterparties. The settlement of various types of legal relations through the judicial institutions requires cooperation, an acquaintance of the sector with the possibilities for reforms, and its inclusion in them. This project aims to involve rural people and agricultural managers and workers in judicial reform, as they are a significant part of those interested in its proper functioning. The project focuses on improving cooperation between rural civil society and the judiciary through a series of activities to support the implementation of the Updated Strategy for Continuing Judicial Reform, Strategic Objectives 4 and 6. Among the expected results are overcoming barriers of communication between the target groups and the judiciary, raising the awareness and active participation of representatives of the agricultural sector and smaller settlements in judicial reform, and promoting mediation as an alternative method of resolving litigations.
