Ensuring the functioning of the Regional information center - Yambol

The Regional information centre – Yambol is part of the network of 28 information centers that were established in order to improve the knowledge and the awareness of the society of the resources from the Structural and Cohesion funds in Bulgaria. Since its inception in 2012 up to now, RIC-Yambol has established itself as a reliable source of information for beneficiaries and citizens of Yambol region. In pursuance of the objectives of the National Communication Strategy and the Partnership Agreement, this project will build on the achieved awareness of EU funding, as RIC-Yambol will consciously and purposefully work to increase transparency in the implementation and management of the programmes. RIC-Yambol activities of Yambol is aimed at the following target groups: applicants and beneficiaries of the programs funded by the ESIF; employees of the RIC-Yambol; MA and intermediary bodies programs funded by the ESIF and the public. The activities of thw center will include organisation of campaigns tailored to the specific needs of the area and the target groups, dissemination of information on EU policies, collection and dissemination of information and promotion of good practices in connection with ESIF, cooperation with the managing authorities of the operational programmes, providing specific information to potential beneficiaries about the possibilities for applying for programmes co-financed by the ESIF. As a result of the project implementation, the residents of Yambol region will be familiar with the opportunities provided by EU funds and the effect that will be obtained on the country, the region, the community or the individual in carrying out different priorities, measures or projects. During the implementation of the project the following horizontal politics will be considered and reported: Promotion of the equality between men and women, prevention of discrimination and accessibility; Partnership; Sustainable development and Tender procedures.
