The current project proposal is focused on providing the functioning of District Information Point in Ruse district and aims to increase awareness of citizens about funding opportunities that European Union provides in programming period 2014-2020.The project upgrade project District information point - Ruse, implemented by Operational program Technical Assistance, funding by European Regional Development Fund. The project proposal includes the following activities: 1. Current support of District Information Point - Ruse; 2. Current renovation of District Information Point - Ruse; 3. Purchase of a motor vehicle, furnishing and equipment of District Information Point - Ruse; 4. Elaboration and distribution of informational materials; 5. Organization, conduction and participation in public informational events; 6. Vizualization, information and publicity of the project. Current project activities aims to provide information about funding opportunities that European structural and investment funds provide. This will lead to the promotion of EU financial aid, how to search for useful information, performing basic levels of project proposal, best practices, common mistakes, raise awareness of finding a suitable job relevant qualifications and education. During the new programming period 2014-2020 District Information Point - Ruse will provide information to the potential beneficiaries regarding application opportunities in European Maritime and Fisheries Fund and European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development 2014-2020.
