Functioning of District information point - Kyustendil

The main objective of the current project is to ensure effective functioning of District information point - Kyustendil. Based on the results achieved so far, established contacts, partnerships and practices during the period 2012 - 2015, the current project is aimed at providing easy access to information on funding opportunities under the programmes, co-financed by the European structural and investment funds, raising the awareness and boosting the activity of potential beneficiaries, increasing the competence of beneficiaries in the implementation of projects, ensuring publicity and transparency of the process of implementation of the programmes co-financed by European funds, promotion of results and best practices at local, regional and national level. In order to achieve these objectives, activities, eusuring effective operation of the Information point are planned - provision of on-site services for people of different social, ethnic and age groups and organization and implementation of events. Various initiatives aimed at different target groups - candidates and potential beneficiaries under ESIF programmes, general public, are planned. The envisaged informational meetings, themed events and workshops are targeted to raising the awareness and competence of potential beneficiaries on the possibilities of the programmes, co-financed by ESIF in programming period 2014-2020, as well as increasing their motivation to participate. Outdoor events, targeted to the general public, are also planned. The implementation of these mass events is aimed at ensuring maximum transparency and increasig public confidence and support for the processes of implementation and management of the programmes. The project and its objectives and activities are planned so as to be in full compliance with Priority Axis 4 of the OP "Good Governance", the National Communication Strategy and other national strategic documents for the programming period 2014-2020.
