Ensuring Stara Zagora District Information Point Functioning

Project proposal envisages the implementation of a number of activities aiming to upgrade the DIP’s achievements and ensuring its effective functioning. The project goal fully corresponds to the goals of the current procedure and of the Priority Axis 4 of OP “Good governance”. Current operating costs, repairs and additional equipment as well as the purchase of vehicle will provide better conditions and flexibility to the DIP team in organizing public information events as well as participating in events organized by Central Coordination Unit, Ministry of Environment and Water, Managing Authority/Intermediate Body and other DIPs. It is foreseen DIP to offer information services in its own office, on spot services when events are held in other municipalities and services by phone and e-mail in accordance to the potential beneficiaries` needs. Through information events for potential and real beneficiaries, meetings with media, seminars, 3 annual conferences and other events, local community will get a comprehensive information on EU policies, Partnership agreement, ESIF. It will be informed about the programmes cofinanced by the above mentioned. DIP will take part in all common initiatives of the network. Set of materials will be produced and handed over to the participants in the public events. Two videos on ESIF and successful projects will be shot and distributed. In addition will be delivered 3 brochures presenting the OP Annual Indicative Working Programmes which are of interest to a large number of potential beneficiaries. Information on EU Cohesion policy and the role of ESIF in Bulgaria at the local and regional level will be presented to the media at the 6 planned press conferences. The DIP vehicle branding and the advertisement materials distributed in the municipalities of our region will contribute to better visualize the DIP activity and attract the local community interest. Nowadays DIP is an important focal point on EU funding.
