Providing funding for salaries of employees of the Central Coordination Unit implementing ESIF

The effective and efficient management and control of EU is necessary to have a highly qualified administrative capacity. The successful implementation of EU structural policy depend on the success of national development policy, which is possible through close cooperation between governments in the country and EU authorities. The implementation of this process depends largely on the availability of well-trained and motivated staff. Specific requirements and competencies for employees CCU involved in management of EU funds include: better knowledge of the European and national regulations and international agreements and internal documents and methodologies. They require specific skills in planning, organizing and supervising their activities leading to the achievement of goals. Great emphasis on teamwork, possessing analytical skills, innovative approach, flexibility in decision-making proficiency in official languages and computer skills, given the need for daily work with information systems and databases. To ensure the attraction and retention of skilled and motivated professionals who have experience in the management and control of EU funds, CCU is necessary to maintain and improve the motivation of employees. Working conditions in the CCU and work on international projects considered prestigious. One of the tools to attract and retain qualified personnel, besides training opportunities and professional growth is attractive remuneration. One of the measures to increase motivation and efficiency of employees is to provide remuneration determined based on the contribution of each employee financed under OP "Good Governance". The budget line provides salaries of employees of CCU operating activities ESIS, social and health insurance paid by the employer and charged on remuneration paid.
