Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Central Coordination Unit

The current budget line ensures the functions of the Central Coordination Unit (CCU) for European Funds Management ESIF and in this regard a number of measures will be implemented for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of CCU including: - Upgrading and supporting of the UMIS; - Training of UMIS users and ensuring the functioning of help desk for UMIS users; - Maintaining and developing www.eufunds.bg; - Organizing, conducting and participating in training on issues related to the management of funds by ESIF for employees of CCU; - Providing employee participation in coordination mechanisms, working groups, workshops, initiatives for exchange of experience in the management of ESIF; - Technical support of the CCU staff to fulfill their direct obligations in relation to management of the ESIF; - Perform analysis and studies in connection with the management of ESIF; - Implementation of actions to limit excessive administrative burden, including the stage of control; - Providing support for the activities of the Monitoring Committee of the Partnership (SP); - Organizing and conducting trainings and workshops to the net of employees in information and publicity; - Activities to ensure the work of Central information and coordination offiec and providing training and methodological support network by the information offices; - National Survey of awareness of the target group on EU cohesion policy; The financial plan will respect the horizontal policies for promoting equality between men and women, non-discrimination and accessibility, Partnership, Sustainable Development and Public Procurement. The beneficiary will implement those principles not only when choosing the team members, but also while implementing the financial plan, following the sound financial management principles - effectiveness and efficiency of expenditures.
