Functioning of the District Information Point of Silistra

With the current project proposal, Municipality of Silistra will ensure the functioning of District information point of Silistra during the period 2019-2021 as a part of the existing network of 27 DIPs. Within the framework of the foreseen activity will be ensured: effective working environment and conditions, DIP experts salaries; development and dissemination of information materials; organizing, conducting and participating in information events, campaigns, initiatives and working with the media. As a result of the activity, DIP-Silistra will function effectively, providing all the information about European funding at one place. The services provided in the office, the 4 types of information materials (brochure, collection of good practices, leaflet and flyer) and the provided minimum of 60 events, correspond the needs of applicants and beneficiaries and also contribute to increased public awareness of the possibilities for applying for proposals funded by the EU Structural and Investment Funds. The collection of good practices contributes to popularizing the results of investing European funds in Bulgaria, the role of the EU and the impact of Cohesion Policy at national, regional and local level. This ensures publicity and transparency in the process of implementation and management the PA and OP. This also leads to increased confidence of all parties concerned and the general public. Different types of communication (in the office, at the public events and through the information materials) ensures equal access for all target groups to free and reliable information services according to their needs, without discrimination on grounds of sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation. Established and successfully working partnerships, as well as the use of modern communication ways (Internet, FB, etc.) also contribute to the observance of horizontal principles, including the sustainable development of the region.
