The project proposal will ensure the functioning of Blagoevgrad Regional Information Center for the period 2019-2021. Blagoevgrad RIC is part of the national network of 27 information centers for the promotion of the EU Cohesion Policy in Bulgaria operating since 2012.The RIC operates on a "one-stop-shop" principle and provides free information, communication, expert and logistic services to organizations and citizens in the Blagoevgrad region by working actively with MAs of the OPs, the media and local and regional authorities. The implementation of the project activities (providing an efficient work environment and working conditions and remuneration of 3 employees; developing/disseminating information materials; organizing, conducting and participating in a minimum of 51 information events /campaigns and media work) will raise awareness and capacity of citizens and potential beneficiaries of Blagoevgrad area for the Partnership Agreement, the Operational programmes and opportunities for ESIF funding; maximum transparency will be ensured for the implementation of the projects funded by the ESIF in the region and public confidence in the EU and the implementation of the PA and OPs will increase. These results directly contribute to the overall objectives of the National Communication Strategy for the 2014-2020 programming period: - promoting the role of the EU and informing about funding opportunities under the programs - ensuring maximum transparency in the implementation and management of programs - building and maintaining high public confidence in the processes of implementing and managing the Partnership Agreement and programs. All horizontal EU principles for partnership, promoting equality and non-discrimination, and greening and resource use will be respected in the implementation process. Publicity and visualization of the project will be ensured, in line with the general network branding and uniform standards for the visualization of ESIF support.
