The Information Centre Network for promotion of Cohesion Policy of the European Union in Bulgaria has been established and functioning since 2012. Regional Information Centre Targovishte is one of the 27 centres deployed in the administrative centres in Bulgaria and working on the principle of one-stop-shop. RIC will continue to work together with the Governing Bodies by assisting them in information campaigning in the territory of Targovishte District, while also cooperating actively with the local authorities, the Employment Agency, the Regional Inspectorate of Education and Secondary Schools, in order to raise the citizens' awareness of the opportunities provided through European Structural and Investment Funds ( ESIF ). Implementation of this Project will assist ensuring of up-to-date, free of charge and expert information on the availability of financial support provided by ESIF funds, as RIC Targovishte will work consciously and purposefully towards increasing transparensy in the implementation and management of the programmes, while building broad public trust in the region. Through inplementation of the Project Activities, a wide range of options for satisfying previously identified needs of potential beneficiaries and target groups, irrespective of their ethnic origin, religion, age or gender, for obtaining information relating to programme funding during the Programming Period 2014-2020 and at tne beginning of the forthcoming Programming Period 2021-2027.
