The project will ensure the effective functioning of the Regional Information Center - Shumen in the period January 1, 2019. - December 31, 2021 as part of the network of 27 Regional Information Centers promoting the ESIS. The project will provide financial support for the implementation of the activities of the Regional Information Center - Shumen, which includes: informing the visitors of the information center about opportunities for financing their ideas and projects from the European structural and investment funds; organizing information events, seminars, trainings, conferences, exhibitions, meetings and working with the media; collecting and disseminating information and promoting good practice in relation to the European structural and investment funds; development and dissemination of information materials (printed, audiovisual and electronic) for the European structural and investment funds and the programs prepared by the Regional Information Center - Shumen or provided by the managing authorities; cooperation with the managing authorities / intermediate bodies of the operational programs and working with national, regional and other EU information networks in connection with the implementation of the functions of the Regional Information Center. Through the execution of the project, the knowledge gained so far for the European funds and programs in the Shumen region will be built and maximum transparency and publicity will be achieved in the process of implementation of the programs financed by the European structural and investment funds. The Center will provide up-to-date, expert and free information on the possibilities for financial support from European structural and investment funds. The Regional Information Center will operate on a one-stop-shop basis and will work actively with the local administration and other institutions to raise citizens' awareness of the opportunities that are provided through the European structural and investment funds.
