Ensuring the functioning of RIC-Plovdiv in the period 2019-2021

Project goal is to ensure effective functioning of the Regional information centre in the Town of Plovdiv and to increase level of information of citizens on opportunities, which European Structural and Investment funds offer. Priority of the Regional information centre – Plovdiv is to popularize EU role, to inform on programme funding opportunities and to ensure transparency of programme implementation and management process. Experts employed under the project shall perform the following activities, which adequately response to project aims: popularization of EU role and providing with relevant information on funding opportunities under the programmes; providing the potential beneficiaries with concrete information for applying under the calls for proposals, co-financed by ESIF; distribution of information and advertisement materials on aims, procedures and funding opportunities of ESIF in Bulgaria; cooperation with managing authorities/intermediate bodies of Operational programmes and collaboration with national and regional media and national EU information networks. RIC-Plovdiv activity contribute to implementation of general aims of the National Communication Strategy 2014-2020, and namely – popularization of EU role; ensuring maximum transparency of programmes implementation and management process; development and maintenance of high public confidence in Operational programmes and Partnership agreement of the Republic of Bulgaria. Realisation of “Ensuring the functioning of OIC-Plovdiv in the period 2019-2021” project will support getting accessible, free and timely information on EU funds and as a result of project activities so far achieved recognition of European funds and programmes will be upgraded.
