Ensuring the functioning of the Vratsa District Information Center in the period 2019-2021

The project is related to meeting the need for citizens in Vratsa district to be informed about the assistance provided by EU funds to the effect of implementing individual priorities, measures or projects on the region, the community or individuals. The overall objective of the project is to raise public awareness about the role of the European Union and the opportunities provided by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF) by ensuring the effective functioning of the Vratsa District Information Center (DIC). The planned project activity includes ensuring an effective working environment, working conditions and remuneration for the employees of the DIC; developing and disseminating information materials and organizing, conducting and participating in 69 information events / national campaigns and media work. Target groups are candidates and beneficiaries of programs financed by ESIF (representatives of businesses, municipalities , NGOs, educational institutions, state regional structures, socio-economic partners, Labor offices, etc.); the Managing Authorities and the Intermediate Bodies of the programs funded by the ESIF; the public events of Vratsa district, incl. media, and employees in the DIC. The implementation of the project will be in line with the EU horizontal principles applicable to the OPGG: partnership, promotion of equality between men and women and non-discrimination and sustainable development. The expected results build on the awareness of European funds and programs. The project contributes to meeting the overall objectives of the NRP for the programming period 2014-2020 , as through its implementation, the EU's role will be promoted and information on funding opportunities under the programs; will ensure maximum transparency in the process of their implementation, will build and maintain high public confidence in the processes of implementing and managing the Partnership Agreement and programs.
