Effective functioning of Regional information centre Burgas 2019-2021

Within the project the main scope of activity of the Regional information Centre (RIC) – Burgas will continue to be related to providing and to dissemination of information about funding opportunities under ESIF popularising the Cohesion policy of the EU in Bulgaria. In order to achieve this aim, effective working environment and conditions and remunerations will be ensured to the team. The team of RIC – Burgas will keep on providing updated and expert information regarding ESIF funding possibilities, answering questions asked on the spot, according to the principle "one-stop-shop", organising different events contributing to raise the awareness of all target groups. They will also continue develop and disseminate different information materials, popularising the financial contribution of the EU to the territory of the region. As part of the national Network of 27 RIC in Bulgaria, RIC – Burgas is in active communication and cooperation with the MA of the OP, local bodies of municipal and state authorities, educational institutions, NGOs, media and citizens. Aiming to complete the objectives of the National Communication Strategy, and more specifically to promote the role of the EU funding opportunities, RIC - Burgas will deliver expert assistance and comprehensive information in order to achieve transparency and public confidence in the implementation and management of ESIF funded projects. While implementing the activities of the project, the EU horizontal policies promoting gender equality and non-discrimination will be respected, as well as the principle of the partnership and sustainable development. The expected results from the implementation of the project are related to the achievement of maximum awareness and information for the general public regarding the ESIF financial opportunities and the EU contribution to a balanced and sustainable development of the territory, as well as transparency regarding the implementation of the EU funded projects.
