Support of the work of the National State Aid Authority in relation to the management of ESIF funds and improvement of the effectiveness in the application of State aid rules

The financial plan with the name “Support of the work of the National State Aid Authority in relation to the management of ESIF funds and improvement of the effectiveness of the application of the State Aid rules” is part of the focused actions of the State Aid and Real Sector Directorate (SARS) to ensure coordination with the authorities involved in the efficient administration (from the point of view of the ESIF) of ESIF funds, the strengthening of the administrative capacity and the implementation of good European practices in the State aid field under the ESIF The objectives set will be achieved by carrying out the following activities: 1. Participation of officials from the SARS Directorate in meetings of working groups, workshops, seminars, etc., organised by the EC; 2. Conducting of seminars in Bulgaria for officials of the SARS Directorate, Managing Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, the Certifying Authority and the Audit Authority of the programmes financed by ESIF; 3. Participation of the SARS officials in trainings, seminars, courses, etc., organised by specialised EU training centers in the State aid field and ESIF; The target group of the project includes officials of the SARS, Managing Authorities, Intermediate Bodies, the Certifying Authority and the Audit Authority of the programmes financed by ESIF; The EU’s horizontal principles on partnership, the promotion of equality between men and women and non-discrimination, sustainable development will be respected in the organisation and implementation of the events by: discussions, exchange of information and sharing of experience and knowledge between the targeted officials, equal access to training and participation, taking into account the functional and job characteristics (features) and horizontal aspects of State aid, restrictions of exchange of paper documents.
