Increasing the efficiency and provision of the Certifying Authority activities in the certification process of ESIF for the period 2019-2021

The financial plan is part of a coherent policy of the NF Directorate to continuously increase the qualification of the employees.The participation in workshops,seminars,symposiums and meetings,including the CA workshops will provide an opportunity to gain practical advices,best practices and clarifications as well as to discuss on different issues and new legislation.The trainings already completed have led to highly positive result in terms of improving the professional qualification of the employees.During the meetings envisaged with the MA the most common problems faced by the target institutions will be discussed and adequate solutions will be sought applicable to all participants from different levels.One of the key elements of the certification of expenditure is the on-the-spot checks carried out in the office of beneficiaries.This process requires to be carried out by certain deadline according to the procedures and rules and therefore it is of utmost importance to ensure the logistical organization for the CA employees in order to carry out on-the-spot checks in the office of the beneficiaries located in the country.The purchase of new equipment is envisaged in order to ensure the timely implementation of the professional obligations of the experts.The provision of mobile plans ensure the flexibility,information and constant communication between the employees.Given the Directorate activities during the current programming period,it is envisaged to provide the use of advisory services for various purposes related to effective and efficient implementation of responsibilities under the operational programs.
