Technical assistance to SEGA for implementation of ESIF management functions through support for reimbursement of horizontal activities costs

The project proposal directly addresses the needs of employees of the State eGovernment Agency (DAEU), related to the acquisition of new skills and enrichment of their knowledge regarding the implementation of activities related to the management of European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF), as well as the provision of materials and business trips for the realization of this part of their duties. The set activities will improve the efficiency of implementation of the measures for improvement of the administration as the backbone of all other sectoral measures, in the context of optimization of the processes for development of the e-government and digitalization of the administration. The project assists DAEU as a horizontal structure for managing ESIF to perform its functions effectively. The project also includes the provision of consulting services for independent evaluation of strategic documents relevant to the work of the entire administration. The implementation of the financial plan will respect the horizontal principles of the EU. 1. Promoting equality - The proposed activities will be available to all employees, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, etc. The activities in the project completely exclude any discrimination and are based on objective criteria for recruitment and selection of participants. Discriminatory criteria restricting the participants' access to the project activities on any grounds will not be set in the framework of the public procurement under the project. 2. Partnership - In the implementation of the project the principle of partnership will be observed through the active participation of stakeholders. 3. Sustainable development - By supporting the participation of employees in training, their professional skills will be upgraded, which will be used in daily work in the long run. This will lead to positive results in the implementation of their tasks in the future and the introduction of sustainable good working practices.
