Regional Information Center - Haskovo

The presented project proposal “Regional Information Center-Haskovo” (RIC) is in full compliance with the general objectives of the NCS and PA for programming period 2014-2020 - raising the public awareness of the EU cohesion policy, funding opportunities, and results achieved for projects co-financed by EU. RIC-Haskovo will work towards increasing the transparency of programs implementation and building broad public confidence; supporting the utilization of the instrument for ITI in Bulgaria. The project will contribute to the achievement of PO4 objectives for “Technical Assistance for the Management of ESIF” through the operation "Establishment and functioning of Regional Information Center-Haskovo in 2022-2023." The activity will be implemented through the active involvement of local administrations, Regional Employment Office and Regional department of Education, high schools, etc., ensuring that information for the EU funding reaches all potential beneficiaries, incl. the young people. Project implementation will be in line with the horizontal principles of the EU, applicable to OPGG: Partnership, Equal opportunities and non-discrimination based on sex, race or ethnicity, religion, disability, age or sexual orientation; accessibility for people with disabilities; Sustainable development-supporting the environmentally friendly administration, improving conditions for business. The results of the project implementation will be mainly in popularization of ESIF, in upgrading the awareness of the European funds and programs, in increasing the transparency of programs’ implementation and management, in building broad public confidence, and in supporting the implementation of ITI instrument in Bulgaria. The results will be achieved through effective persistent work with the following target groups: Regional Information Center staff members; Applicants and beneficiaries of ESIF programs; MA and IB of the ESIF funded programs; General public.
