Ensuring the functioning of the Smolian RIC for the period 2022-2023

The implementation of the project proposal will ensure the functioning of the Regional Information Centre (RIC) - Smolyan during the period 2022-2023. Within the framework of the project, will be provided: remunerations of the three employees of the RIC - Smolyan; expenses for organization and conduction of public information events in the municipalities of Smolyan district; expenses for current maintenance. RIC - Smolyan will continue to hold public information events, namely: 20 information events in the ten municipalities of Smolyan district; 2 common initiatives; 4 meetings with the media and 2 one-day events. RIC - Smolyan will develop and distribute an Annual Information Bulletin - 2 editions and information leaflets - 20 editions. The target groups to which the project is aimed are: RIC employees; applicants and beneficiaries of ESIF-funded programs; the managing authorities and intermediate units of the ESIF-funded programs; the public. The implementation of the project will respect the horizontal principles of the EU, namely: Partnership, Promotion of gender equality and non-discrimination, Sustainable development. The public information events will be held in partnership with local authorities and institutions and will be aimed at all stakeholders, without discrimination on any grounds, while the sustainable development will be achieved through reduction of paper usage and use of environmentally friendly materials. Through the project implementation will be upgraded the understanding and the awareness of the European funds and programs that has been achieved during the previous projects, while the RIC - Smolyan will consciously and purposefully work to increase transparency in the implementation and management of programs, building broad public confidence and supporting the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria. The total value of the project is BGN 249,900 and its duration is 24 months.
