Ensuring of Stara Zagora District Information Point operation during the period 2022-2023

Project proposal envisages the implementation of a number of activities aiming to upgrade the results achieved by the District Information Point /DIP/ since its establishment and to ensure its efficient functioning during the period 2022-2023. The project goal fully corresponds to the objectives of the call for proposals and Priority axis 4 of OP Good governance. Securing the necessary funding for the DIP’s operation will set up optimal working conditions for the project activities implementation. It is planned DIP to offer an up-to-date, free expert information about the financing opportunities through ESIF in its office, by telephone, e-mail and on the spot during information events in the municipalities of Stara Zagora region. Through public events for beneficiaries, meetings with media, workshops and other public events will be ensured better local community awareness of the EU policies, Partnership Agreement, ESIF role for local and regional development and project application rules. DIP will take part in all National Network common initiatives. A set of materials will be produced and provided to the participants in public events. Brochures with information on the Indicative Annual Working Programs and leaflets on current calls for proposals detailing application conditions under concrete measures of OP`s as well as eligible beneficiaries and activities will be distributed. Pursuant to Regional Development Law and its Application Rules DIP are assigned new obligations, namely participation in the work of the Mediation Unit and Public Consultations' Unit at the Regional Development Council. DIP participation in these Units will be of crucial importance for supporting partnership building between different entities for Integrated Territorial Investments. With the project continuation DIP will keep its leading role as a contact point for a provision of updated and accurate information on EU main policies and funding opportunities.
