Providing the functioning of the Regional information center - Blagoevgrad for the period 2022 -2023

The aim of the project is to ensure the functioning of the Regional Information Center - Blagoevgrad for the period 2022 - 2023. RIC-Blagoevgrad, as part of the national network of 27 information centers, has a significant role inpromoting EU cohesion policy in Bulgaria and in the contribution of the ESIF. The activities envisaged under the project are providing an effective working environment and working conditions, remuneration of 3 employees, development/dissemination of information materials, organizing, conducting and participating in information events/campaigns, working with the media and providing technical support for work with UMIS. Through them, RIC-Blagoevgrad will continue to function and work actively and in close cooperation with the MA of the OP, the media, local administrations, universities, high schools, partner organizations, etc., providing information on funding opportunities from EU funds, that it reaches all potential beneficiaries from Blagoevgrad district. With the introduced in 2020 requirements of the Law on regional development, RIC-Blagoevgrad will work actively on the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in the area as the employees will participate in the expert staff of the Mediation Unit and the Public Consultation Unit of the RDP of South-West Region. The project will make a significant contribution to increasing transparency in the implementation of programs, building trust and public awareness of EU cohesion policy, funding opportunities for EU funds and the results of co-financed projects, while supports the implementation of the Integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria. Implementation will respect the EU's horizontal principles of partnership, sustainable development, gender equality and non-discrimination. The publicity and visualization of the project will be in accordance with the Concept for branding andvision of the network of 27 RIC's and the Information and Communication Manual.
