Effective functioning of District Information Point - Ruse 2022-2023

The project proposal foresees the implementation of the activity "Ensuring the functioning of the District information point /DIP/ - Ruse in the period 2022-2023" which includes ensuring an efficient working environment and working conditions, providing remuneration to the employees of the DIP - Ruse; development and/or dissemination of information material; organising, conducting and participating in information events/campaigns and working with the media; the performance of the duties and working procedures related to the functions of the DIP as part of the Mediation Unit and the Public Consultation Unit of the North Central Regional Development Council. The proposal plans results contributing to the objectives of the National Communication Strategy 2014-2020 and the Partnership Agreement: - building public awareness of the European cohesion policy, funding opportunities and the results achieved in projects co-financed by EU funds - increasing transparency in the implementation of programmes, building broad public confidence - supporting the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria. The project will apply the EU horizontal principles applicable to the Operational programme "Good Governance“ through stakeholder consultation, public consultation /Partnership/, Promotion of equality between men and women and non-discrimination in the implementation of the project sub-activities taking into account the social aspects of gender; preventing discrimination on the grounds of sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation, taking into account the needs of different target groups at risk of such discrimination; ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. The project adheres to the already established practice of providing the necessary information to clients in electronic form and the resources are used in a sustainable way.
