SLIVEN DISTRICT INFORMATION POINT

The project "District Information Center Sliven" aims to ensure the effective functioning of the Center and thus upgrade public awareness of European cohesion policy, funding opportunities and results, achieved by projects co-financed by EU funds. The team of the center will work to increase transparency in the implementation of the programs by building broad public trust and supporting the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in the Sliven District. The main activity of the project is related to ensuring the functioning of DIC-Sliven in the period of 2022-2023. The experts in the center will continue to provide free information to potential beneficiaries about the opportunities to apply under the operative programs. At least 22 information events will be organized on the territory of the district - events in municipalities, for different target groups, local and regional media representatives, as well as participation of DIC Sliven in two joint information campaigns of the Network. Printed information materials will be developed and disseminated, as well as the implementation of the new integrated territorial approach will be supported. For the District Information Center Sliven’s team, the leading role will be for the implementation of the horizontal principles: partnership, encouraging equality between men and women and prevention of discrimination, as well as sustainable development. The implementation of the project will contribute to achieving the objectives of the National Communication Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria for the period 2014-2020, as well as the Partnership Agreement through Specific Objective 3 of Priority Axis: 4 "Technical assistance for the management of ESIF" of OP "Good Governance" 2014-2020.
