"Effective functioning of Regional information centre - Burgas 2022 - 2023"

During the current period, RIC-Burgas will continue its main activity in providing and disseminating up-to-date information on funding under EU programmes and promoting cohesion policy by focusing public attention on successfully implemented projects co-financed by EU funds. In order to achieve the goal, the team of RIC-Burgas will be provided with a functional working environment, working conditions and remuneration. The team of RIC-Burgas will be engaged in providing up-to-date and expert information on funding opportunities under EU funds. The organization of work is carried out on a one-stop basis, and in addition events will be realized on topical topics contributing to the awareness of a wide range of target groups. Experts will also produce and disseminate information materials promoting the EU's financial contribution. RIC-Burgas cooperates with the MA and units of the programs, local units of the central government and local authorities, maintains contact with educational institutions and academia, non-governmental organizations, media and citizens. The OIC team will support the implementation of the integrated territorial approach by participating in the expert units of the Regional Development Council. There will also be an increased awareness to achieve transparency and public confidence in the implementation and management of projects co-financed by the ESIF. Horizontal principles for the implementation of partnership and sustainable development will be respected through EU policies to promote gender equality and non-discrimination. The expected results of the implementation of the project are to maximize awareness and awareness of all stakeholders regarding the possibilities for financial support under the programmes co-financed by the ESIF and the EU contribution to addressing the territorial imbalance in the field.
