OPERATION OF REGIONAL INFORMATION CENTER - PERNIK IN THE PERIOD 2022-2023 YEAR

RIC- Pernik is part of the Network of Information Centers for Promoting EU Cohesion Policy in Bulgaria and has been operating since 2011. The project proposal is subordinated and fully complies with the general objectives of the National Communication Strategy and the Partnership Agreement - will upgrade the public awareness of European cohesion policy, funding opportunities, as well as the results achieved on projects co-financed by EU funds. In the period 2022-2023, the RIC- Pernik will consciously and purposefully work to increase transparency in the implementation of the programs by building broad public trust and supporting the implementation of the integrated territorial approach in Bulgaria. The project proposal will be implemented in accordance with the horizontal EU principles applicable to the OPGG: - Partnership - conducting consultations with stakeholders, public discussions, etc. - Promoting equality between men and women and non-discrimination; Promoting equality between men and women and taking into account the social aspects of gender; preventing discrimination based on sex, racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age or sexual orientation, taking into account the needs of the different target groups at risk of such discrimination; ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. - Sustainable development - supporting the development of environmentally friendly administration (paperless work, green public procurement, etc.), waste management, building a more competitive low-carbon economy in which resources are used in an efficient and sustainable way , prevention of biodiversity loss, improvement of business conditions.
