Ensuring the functioning of the Regional Information Centre - Shumen

The project will ensure the effective functioning of the District Information Center - Shumen in the period January 1, 2022 - December 31, 2023 as part of the network of 27 District Information Centers promoting the European structural and investment funds. The project will provide financial support for the implementation of the activities of the DIC - Shumen, which includes: informing the visitors of the information center about opportunities for financing their ideas and projects from the ESIF; organizing information events, seminars, trainings, conferences, exhibitions, meetings and working with the media; collecting and disseminating information and promoting good practices in relation to the ESIF; development and distribution of information materials (printed, audiovisual and electronic) for the ESIF and the programs prepared by the DIC - Shumen or provided by the managing authorities; cooperation with the managing authorities / intermediate bodies of the operational programs and working with national, regional and other EU information networks in connection with the implementation of the functions of the DIC. The center will work in close cooperation with Europe Direct in Shumen and in coordination with Europe Enterprise, Global Libraries, the National Rural Network and the Network of Information and Publicity Officers of the Operational Programs. Through the execution of the project the awareness achieved so far about the European funds and programs in Shumen district will be upgraded and maximum transparency and publicity will be achieved in the process of implementation of the programs financed by ESIF. The Center will provide up-to-date, expert and free information on the possibilities for financial support from ESIF. The DIC will operate on a one-stop-shop basis and will work actively with the local administration and other institutions to raise citizens' awareness of the opportunities that are provided through the ESIF.
