"Acquisition of knowledge and skills in innovation and investment in agriculture - a guarantee for the prosperity of farmers"

The project proposal aims to increase the knowledge and skills of farmers and employees on their holdings (including "young farmers" and "small holdings approved for support under measures under the Thematic Sub-Program for Small Farms RDP 2014-2020 "), through increasing knowledge, skills and competences in the field of innovation and investment in agriculture. The project fully covers PO1 and PO6, and the project trainings are entirely based on PO2, PO3, PO4 and PO5 of measure 1 "Knowledge transfer and awareness actions". The curricula also include topics related to climate change mitigation. and adapting to it, protecting the environment and innovating and investing in agriculture. It is envisaged to conduct trainings (152-163 hours) in the following professions / specialties: - Profession "Plant Grower", specialty "Plant Protection"; - Profession "Worker in animal husbandry", specialty "Poultry"; - Profession "Worker in food industry", specialty "Food industry". For the realization of the project idea there will be provided training halls and technical and production facilities, necessary equipment and training materials, qualified staff and teachers, food, hotel accommodation and transport of trainees. The development of agriculture in the country requires new working skills for competitiveness in open market conditions. The current project aims to give farmers a chance in several areas, providing them with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills. The trainees will become a competitive workforce, which is a guarantee of sustainability and European quality and productivity. The successful implementation of the planned activities relies on the EAFRD financial support through Measure 1 "Knowledge transfer and information actions" under the RDP 2014-2020.
