Professional training of farmers and employees on their farms from CPO to Tamaris Ltd.

The project proposal is aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of farmers and employees on their farms by providing training for qualification in Gotse Delchev and Velingrad. Agriculture is affected by climate change and environmental degradation. Intensification and specialization in agriculture cause erosion of the soil, stress on the water regime and severe degradation of biodiversity. Measures and actions need to be taken by farmers to protect the environment and sustainability of the farms. At the same time, it is important to increase the economic performance of the farms. These challenges can be addressed through vocational training to increase the knowledge and skills of farmers and farm workers. The project activities include the organization and delivery of 6 training courses with a duration of 150 students. o'clock. It is envisaged that 150 farmers and their employees will be included in the training. As a result of the project activities envisaged, the following results are expected to be achieved: - Increased knowledge and skills of farmers and employees on their holdings; - Mitigating and adapting to climate change through environmental practices; - 2 courses in part of profession Agroecologist, specialty Agroecology; - Conducted 2 courses in part of the profession of plant breeder, major in Plant protection; - Conducted 1 long-term course in a part of the profession Worker in animal breeding, specialty Cattle and animal husbandry; - Conducted 1 long-term course in part of the profession Worker in animal breeding, specialty Sheep breeding and goat breeding; - Number of trained farmers and employees on their farms - 150.
