More qualified farmers and more sustainable farms

The applicant is a Professional agricultural high school “Dobrudja” and has a 111-year history as a vocational school. In the schoolyard, which has a total area 109 decare has an herbal field; the herbs are grown using natural farming methods. 40 fruit trees have also been planted, which are grown using biodynamic farming methods. PZG has its own farm and registration under Ordinance 3 to maintain a register of farmers. In the school building has a specially separated hall with multimedia and interactive whiteboard where seminars and meetings are held. The school has 5 training workshops and license to train students and trainees to acquire the following management categories of Road vehicles and agricultural machinery: “B”, “C”,“TkT”,”TbK”, “TBk-3”. On this project a lease was concluded on the basis of a farmer, which grows permanent crops by organic production methods and applies soil erosion protection methods. Only the school’s own base will be used to take the qualification courses. The candidate plans within 30 months from signing an administrative grant agreement to organizing and conducted 2 long-term courses for part of the profession “Plant breeder technician” with a duration 150 hours, 2 short courses for part of the profession “Plant breeder technician” with a duration 30 hours, 1 course for acquiring a license to operate a tractor with agricultural implement ”TbK” and to gain in the ability to operate a combine “TBk-3”, as well as 4 seminars lasting 18 and 8 hours. All groups will be 20 people, with young farmers and their workers among them, beneficiaries of measures 10 and 11 by PRSR 2014-2020. All trainers, the lecturers included in the project are legal persons, are employed under a candidate’s employment contact and have a teaching qualification.
