The project aims to increase knowledge and improve skills to prevent complicated epizootic conditions and to improve biosecurity for farmers operating in the livestock sector in the territory of 24 districts through the organization and holding of specialized seminars. The topics included in the seminar program are focused according to the priorities of the RDP 2014-2020, namely: Priority 3 "Promoting good organization of the food chain, incl. processing and marketing of agricultural products, animal welfare and risk management in agriculture ', with an emphasis in area 3B) Supporting the prevention and management of husbandry risk. The seminars will be conducted by the BFSA Vocational Training Center in 24 areas. It is envisaged that each seminar will last 18 hours and cover 5 topics as follows: - Mandatory veterinary activities; - Emergency measures for detecting diseased animals in the holding; - Obligations of owners/users of livestock establishments / relevant for combating the spread of infectious diseases; - Biosecurity; - The welfare of farm animals as a comprehensive measure to increase productivity and prevent disease occurrence. The specific topics of the seminars are distributed according to the specific needs of the farms in the different regions and districts. The envisaged activities within the project will help to disseminate knowledge and improve the skills of the employees in the breeding establishments, which will increase their competitiveness and improve the environmental performance of their farms. This will help a sustainable rural economy. The implementation of this project envisages holding seminars for a total of 5555 participants, representatives of the target group - farmers in 24 districts.
