"Improvement of human capital in agriculture by organizing courses for upgrading vocational training and acquiring new knowledge".

The need for vocational training is driven by the fact that only 5% of farmers have professional qualifications in agriculture. Market globalization and a competitive business environment require agriculture and forestry employees to have good knowledge in a number of areas to help them manage their businesses in an efficient and competitive way. Bulgaria's accession to the EU also obliges farmers to adapt to the introduction of a number of Community standards and requirements related to their activities. Vocational training will increase the opportunities for earning additional income and for acquiring new knowledge of agricultural workers. In the context of increasing specialization of agriculture, it is important for farmers to have good economic and technical qualifications in the fields of new technologies, environmental protection, renewable energy sources and more. This project proposal provides for a 150-hour course on "Innovative models for agricultural management" that will cover 60 people in 4 groups and a 30-hour course on "Supporting prevention and risk management in farms" ", Which will cover 240 people in 16 groups. Vocational training will be carried out under the framework program "D", profession "Crop grower" code 621030, specialty "Field farming" code 6210302, and after the completion of vocational training for qualification in part of the profession will be issued a certificate for vocational training. The courses are intended for registered farmers and employed on agricultural holdings, which require training on the introduction of good agricultural practices on the farm, improving the professional qualification of farmers, learning about new and innovative technologies in agricultural management, etc. n.
