Farmers' training - prosperity for the farm

Livestock breeding in Bulgaria is a traditional industry with serious advantages due to favorable natural conditions and centuries-old agricultural heritage. This predetermines the development of many sub-sectors - cattle breeding, buffalo farming, poultry farming, pig breeding, sheep husbandry etc. In order to start a business in the field of animal husbandry, it is necessary to draw up a plan for its activity. It generally must include: Description of the size of the farm and characterization of its capabilities; Characterization of available resources and ecological environmental assessment; Characterization of the macro, micro and internal environment of the business; Characterization of the financial and material condition of the farm; Condition of supply and demand for livestock production , especially of the type to which the farm is headed to develop; Providing the farm with the necessary manpower and the need to hire staff. The development of an farm management and the need to improve the quality of the workforce and the development of human capital in it leads to the idea of increasing the adaptability and competitiveness of farmers and employees on their farms by: - providing vocational training; - seminars for farmers and employees on their holdings. Activities planned under the project include: Providing vocational training through long-term training courses; Organizing of seminars. They aim to increase knowledge and improve the skills of farmers and employees on their farms by achieving an adequate level of technical and economic training and increasing the capacity to access knowledge and information in the agricultural sector. This would increase labor productivity as well as the competitiveness of the business and will encourage investments in human resources development.
