Providing professional footwear and continuous skills

This project proposal envisages the provision of long-term training courses of 150 hours each for a total of 360 farmers in the following professions and specialties: - Profession Worker in animal breeding, Specialty Beekeeping - distributed in 4 pcs. study groups of 30 persons, total of 120 persons; - Profession Agroecologist, Specialty Agroecology - distributed in 1 pc. a study group of 30 persons, a total of 30 persons; - Profession Farmer, Specialty Farmers - distributed in 7 pcs. study groups of 30 persons, 210 persons in total. The envisaged training in the three professions will focus on the following areas: 2A) Improving the economic performance of all farms and facilitating the restructuring and modernization of farms, especially with a view to increasing market share and orientation and diversifying agriculture; 2B) Facilitating the entry of appropriately qualified farmers in the agricultural sector, and in particular intergenerational continuity; 5A) Improving efficiency in agricultural water consumption. The aim of the training is to provide farmers with the knowledge and skills to help them improve their competitiveness and resource efficiency, improve their farm's environmental performance, and achieve sustainability in rural areas.
