„ALL FOR THE SHEEP” WEB-BASED PLATFORM

The main objective of the project is to bring together the resources, knowledge, businesses and institutions relevant to the sheep-breeding and production processes through a common national web-based platform. The main part of the platform will consist of collected and systematic information about sheep breeds, population, distribution and breeding of sheep in Bulgaria. All the peculiarities, risks and technologies associated with sheep farming, as well as the subsequent processing of sheep production. Useful information will be included for the sheep breeders themselves, as well as for the applicant students, researchers, consumers and investors. It is envisaged that an interdisciplinary approach will also be used to implement the project - the platform will summarize information in the field of sheep breeding, legislation, science and business. The platform will provide full information on the specific use of production, the qualitative classifiers of breeds, the quality of raw materials and their use in industry, innovations and recommendations in the field of animal nutrition, milking, innovation, prevention and control of diseases, etc. n. A team will be formed to collect and process both available information sources and new sources for Bulgaria and Europe. Information from leading sheep farmers will be used. The development of the Web platform will be entrusted to an IT specialist.  The following types of content will be introduced to the platform: - Sheep register; - News in different categories; - Stock Exchange; - Documents; - Events; - Scientific activity; - Construction of a modern electronic forum; - Section for work, internships, research, etc .; - Projects and financing; - Business catalog by country and sector of activity; - Diseases and epizootics, vaccinations and prevention; - the regulatory framework applicable in the sector; - any other information on topics relevant to the sheep breeders and stakeholders in the area.
