The power of the folk art through performance of folklore traditions and rituals.

A person's communication with art begins from an early age. The little child perceives the different forms of art as a reality – the folklore tales, songs, poems, paintings. And while at first they entertain and comfort the child, they later become a source of knowledge, a role model, a source of moral and aesthetic values. Art is a necessity in the life of adolescents, not only because it satisfies them and gives them constant joy, but because through art they reach the sense of beautiful. In pre-school age, the artistic education has a primary role in shaping the personality of the child. The children are presented with different kinds of art, they acquire and consolidate their knowledge of our past, traditions, reality and morality and experience great spectrum of emotions in their encounters with art. Through the contact and the transformation of the Bulgarian traditions the children will gain knowledge about the formation of the Bulgarian nation. The events related with the Bulgarian folklore and traditions will contribute to the emotional and spiritual development of the children.
