"Renovation of "Cemetery Park" in the Town of Harmanli"

The sustainable socio-economic development of the municipality is inextricably linked to the existing infrastructure and the quality of the services provided to the population. The project "Renovation of "Cemetery Park" in the Town of Harmanli" in Harmanli aims to improve the quality of life and to create an aesthetic living environment in the Municipality of Harmanli, by rehabilitation of the terrain, building an alley network and creating equal access for persons in unequal position on the territory of a cemetery park in the town of Harmanli so that they meet the contemporary environmental requirements and enable the sustainable development of the society. The project will be based on an approved investment project, implementation of activities for construction of pedestrian alleys, vertical planning, landscaping of the terrain and creation of an accessible environment for the disadvantaged people wil be implemented. As a result of the implementation of the project, the living environment in Harmanli will be improved as a prerequisite for ensuring a sustainable and environmentally friendly environment and a higher quality of life. The attractiveness of the settlement will be improved as well as the access of 19,989 inhabitants to the safe, sustainable and high ecological and aesthetic quality of the physical and living environment. The activities envisaged correspond to the objectives set out in the Rural Development Program 2014-2020 and thus to the EU's strategic objectives. Within the framework of the project activities will be carried out for construction supervision, authors supervision, information and publicity, and consultancy services related to project management.
